Stress Management: Of Horse Farms And Public Housing


I drove to the Stop and Shop in Bristol, Connecticut, so of course I drove to Jerome Avenue. This is one of those street travel at least two or three times a day.

an interesting street, to Jerome Avenue. There are a bunch of nice old houses, including a salt box from the 1700's. William Jerome's original house, or so the sign says.

There is a low-income public housing project, near Route sixth Often you will see a stroller in front of him, despite signs in the supermarket parking lot asks them not to take.

and two houses down from the public housing complex, tucked away off the street is a bit small, very well kept house with lots of surface area in the back. There is a fenced in horse pasture with two horses.

is not what you expect to see almost next to public housing small New England town, just off the main drag.

But it's there!

Things grow up around us ... sometimes not the way we want.

circumstances change and events are beyond our control locus.

Of course it is for the person who first put down its roots in the Jerome Ave. near the Stop and Shop.

And guess what? You get to carve your own private space around quite what's happening in your life.

You've got to be easier than maintaining stable!
